Once participants are signed into SEMA3 and have synced to the server (online), they will then be able to complete any subsequent scheduled surveys with or without an active internet connection. SEMA3 allows notifications to be stored locally on the phone for the participant to receive and complete whilst offline.
Along with the basic survey functions, such as multiple-choice, slider, and text response questions, SEMA3 also includes advanced surveys functions, such as conditional branching (along multiple levels), grid and graphic questions, and combination choice-slider questions.
Allows admins (researchers) to quickly test changes to a survey during survey design without recording any data or creating a new version of the survey. This feature avoids the need to create multiple versions of a survey before deploying the final version.
SEMA3 allows ultimate flexibility in designing survey schedules with an intuitive calendar-style schedule editor. Surveys can be scheduled at random or fixed times at a frequency from minutes to months using one of three different schedule types: Weekly (i.e., Mon-Sun), Day Index (i.e., Day 1 to Day X) and Absolute Date (i.e., starting and ending on specific calendar dates).
SEMA3 generates graphs of each participant’s responses to slider and choice questions, which can be viewed by researchers/admins and can be made visible to participants via a secure link (e.g., after completion). This feature offers a unique and secure way for participants to view their own data and may enhance compliance.
Export survey data by study version, single participants, or certain questions only. The researcher has ultimate control over how to export and utilise the data gathered by SEMA3.
